What time do trips start?

Typical start times are early morning (around 6-7 AM) to catch the best bite. Exact time confirmed when you book.

We'll provide the specific boat ramp location when you book. Common meeting points include Galts Ferry, Blockhouse, and Victoria Landing on Lake Allatoona.

Weather & Conditions

What happens if it rains?

Light rain usually doesn't stop us—fish often bite better! If weather is dangerous (lightning, high winds), we'll reschedule your trip at no charge.

Do you fish in cold weather?

Yes! Striper and hybrid fishing is year-round. Winter fishing can be excellent. Dress warmly and we'll put you on fish.

What if the weather is dangerous?

Safety comes first. If conditions are unsafe, we'll reschedule your trip to the next available date at no additional cost.

Fish & Fishing

What fish will we catch?

Primarily striped bass (5-30+ lbs) and hybrid bass (3-8 lbs). You may also catch spotted bass, largemouth, and other species.

What's the best time of year to fish?

Every season offers great fishing! Spring (March-May) has the hottest action during the striper spawn. Fall is excellent too. Summer and winter are productive with adjusted techniques.

Can I keep the fish I catch?

Yes, within Georgia DNR limits. We follow all regulations. Bring a cooler with ice if you want to take fish home.

Will you teach me to fish?

Absolutely! Teaching is part of every trip. You'll leave knowing techniques you can use on your own boat.

Kids & Families

Are kids welcome?

100% yes! We LOVE fishing with kids. Many of our best trips are family trips.

What age is appropriate for a fishing trip?

Kids as young as 4-5 can enjoy a half-day trip. We adjust the experience to keep young anglers engaged and having fun.

Do kids fish free?

Kids 10 and under fish FREE (one free child per boat).

Is the boat safe for children?

Absolutely. Our boats meet all safety requirements. Life jackets are available for all ages. Our guides have decades of experience with families and maintain a family-friendly, G-rated atmosphere.

Still Have Questions?
