The fall bite has been absolutely incredible this year. Stripers and hybrids are gorging on shad before winter, and we're seeing some of the best topwater action of the year.

Early mornings have been magical. Schools of stripers are pushing shad to the surface, creating explosive feeding frenzies that you can see from hundreds of yards away. When you find the birds diving, get there fast!

We've been running a mix of topwater plugs early, then transitioning to trolling umbrella rigs as the sun gets higher. Both techniques have been producing big numbers.

Last week we had a group of four buddies who hadn't fished together since college. They reconnected over 47 fish in one morning—not a bad way to catch up!

The water temp is sitting around 62°F and dropping slowly. This pattern should continue through early December before the fish transition to their winter haunts.
